Who am I?
My name is Kelsey Britt (she/they), and I’m a queer writer, witch, survivor, trauma-informed yoga teacher, and EDSE certified sexuality educator who is passionate about empowering people who identify as women, trans and/or non-binary in feeling more at home in their bodies and erotic lives.
Being raised in a conservative, religious part of the US (hi there Indiana!), I was given so many unhealthy messages about sex — and very little healthy ones.
These unhealthy messages and lack of information didn't stop me from exploring my sexuality. But they did fill me with a whole lotta shame and fear, and they ultimately made it difficult for me to stay present in my body during sex, identify and express my desires, assert my boundaries, accept my queerness, and experience the pleasure and transcendence that I felt was possible with sexual intimacy and eroticism.
Over the past decade, I’ve been addressing my own challenges and supporting folks on their own sexuality journeys. I’ve worked with middle and high school students, college students, and adults in individual and group settings. Using storytelling, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed yoga flows, and facilitated group discussions, all with a dash of witchcraft, my current work focuses on bringing compassionate curiosity, presence, and agency into our bodies and the stories that we all carry.
My hope is to help create a shame-free world where people feel safe enough to cultivate the type of pleasurable, fulfilling sex lives that we are all worthy of.

Who is this Substack for?
If you’re interested in getting the sex ed you never got in school…if you’re trying to navigate sexuality and relationships after experiencing trauma…if you want to connect more deeply with your whole body…if you love reading writing about sex…if you want to integrate and release the shame you feel about sexuality…if you’re interested in having better sex….if you’re interested in witchcraft and want to incorporate these practices into the exploration of your sexuality…you’re a writer who loves exploring gender, bodies, or sexuality in their work…if you are looking for a community of folks who are also interested in exploring and bringing compassionate curiosity to sexuality and their bodies, then this is the space for you.
Please note that my work centers people who identify as women, trans, and/or non-binary. I share stories and create somatic practices for these groups. I strive to create a safer space for these folks to explore their sexuality because historically we have not had permission, access, or safety to explore this part of our selves.
I am open to cis-men reading and engaging with my work on here. I also teach some partner workshops where cis-men are welcome to join their partners who are women, trans, and/or non-binary. I realize that cis-men struggle with various aspects of their sexuality, and I also realize that many people I do create my work for have sex with cis-men — and that when cis-men have a better relationship with their sexuality, these folks benefit.
However, my work is not created for cis-men.
If they are engaging with my work in a way that makes me or other folks uncomfortable, I will not hesitate to remove them from thecuriousclit community and my workshops.
